The Dashboard is a quick overview of what items are going out and coming back today. You will also see a list of your ten most recent transactions. You can also revisit our Tutorial here by clicking the Dashboard Help icon to your upper right. Clicking RE will bring up the Dashboard for you.
The Workbench is an overview or quick look at what’s going out and coming back for the current week. You will also be able to see any overdue and future transactions as well as what’s being delivered and what was ordered online from the store front. You can focus just on the current week and navigate from to previous and future weeks or you can show all to include past, present and future transactions.
Customer and transaction tags will appear here, too. *NOTE: Please see our Managing Tags document to learn more.
Choosing Inventory from the More option drop down on the main counter will allow you to choose to see a list of your inventory. The inventory option will show you not only a list of your inventory but also the quantity available. From here, you can click on the Calendar Availability icon to see what's available for a future date. You can add new inventory here as well as increasing your stock and updating your base rate upon editing the item.
Choosing Customers from the More option drop down on the main counter will allow you to see a list of your customers as well as their current balance and total transactions amount. You can very easily edit any customer from here or even add new ones. By editing a customer, you can see their transaction history, any notes added to any of their transactions and any payments collected. Switch to Advanced Mode and you have more options to complete.
New Rental will allow you to create a new rental transaction for a customer.
Quick Sale will allow you to create a quick, easy sale for a customer to get them out the door and on their way for their next errand.
Quick Receive is a quick, easy way to receive a specific serialized item instance that has a barcode linked to it.
Missed Rental allows you to record and keep track of any items that you missed out on renting. This may be due to you not keeping the item in your inventory or maybe you were just overbooked and didn’t have any available for the item period.
